Pets can roam the large shady gardens, enjoy the walking trails and rocky river – a perfect restful retreat or a romantic hideaway for couples, families and doggy holidays. Spectacular panoramic views of the Bega Valley, with a variety of birdlife, echidnas, platypus, wombats and farm animals.

The Stone Cottage, cozy in winter, cool in summer has been built from local river stone and timber from the property. The Pinewood cottage is fully accessible. Both cottages have stunning views of mountains and valleys with wood fires to keep you cosy in winter. Soft fluffy towels and luxury linen ensure your comfort. We provide freshly baked bread on arrival and our farm eggs with starter breakfast provisions in the cottages. Cottages are spotlessly clean, budget priced, with special rates for families.

The Sapphire Coast is an amazing region from the mountains to the sea, National Parks and walking trails, beaches and swimming, fishing, or horse riding, canoeing, grape and fruit wineries, art galleries and craft studios, the famous Bega Cheese Factory, Australian Pottery Gallery,Candelo Markets and of course whales in season. The beaches are pristine and uncrowded and there are many leash free beach areas for pets.

 

ACCESSIBILITY:

The Pinewood Cottage is a mellow timber lined hexagon, purpose built for wheelchair access. It has a large kitchen & living area, spacious bathroom, two bedrooms and a light and airy living space. The floor to ceiling windows reveal spectacular mountain and rural paddock views. The cottage is cosy in winter heated by a log fire. All timber is supplied.

The cottage enjoys a northerly aspect, with views to the bush clad ridges surrounding Bemboka Peak. It is set in a large fenced native garden and is surrounded by a shady grape and wisteria draped pergola.

The Pine cottage has 2 bedrooms – the main room has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds which can also be converted into a double bunk with a trundle bed for a third person. The living area has a queen size sofa bed and a well equipped country kitchen. All linen is supplied and special little touches are provided here and there to delight you.
Pets are welcome in our cottages as each have large secluded fenced gardens, stunning views and prolific bird life. The canine guests love the space, the smells, the river, the rabbits, an occasional wombat wandering through and curling up before a log fire on frosty nights.

Included in the cottages are starter breakfast provisions: juice, cereals, freshly baked bread, our farm eggs, home made jam, plunger coffee, teas. Luxury linen is supplied and lots of things to make your stay feel “home-away-from-home”.

The property is situated on the side of the South East National Park and it is possible to walk along the Ooranuk Trail to Bemboka Peak or to the Walls to the east.
