Description
Belvedere is a local icon in Griffith and surrounding areas being the first Italian Restaurant in the region and 3rd oldest running Italian Restaurant in Australia. Located in the main street of Griffith a small city thriving with industry and culture this little hub has a steady population of around 25,000 from all areas of the globe. The Belvedere was started in 1969 by local Italian migrant Mr Vico since then the belvedere has changed slightly in a few ways but the main essense has not being lost being known for its quality ingredients and fresh produce to create meals just like Nonna does it, well she actually does.
Here at Belvedere they belive in serving the best produce combined together correctly to give you a real Italian experience from the hand rolled gnocchi made by the famous Nicolina for 46 years to their chefs who spend time with Nonna and Zia Cathy to get the famliy recipes just right. They will not only entice you with their dishes but they will endevour to give a you an experience of little Italy in the food bowl of Australia.
