Colonial Village is multi-award winning hostel in the seaside town of Hervey Bay which has 8 sprawling acres of botanical grounds with the place and space to suit everyone’s needs and budgets.

We have a variety of accommodation including 5 person Cabins, 1 and 2 Bedroom Fully Self-Contained Villas, Ensuites, Budget Doubles and Twins, Dorms, Pet Friendly Cabin and also spacious Powered and Unpowered Campsites.

If you want to get active we also have tennis and basketball courts, table tennis and also bicycle hire. If you would like to simply kick back and relax we also have a resort style swimming pool and a jet spa, or alternatively day dream in a hammock by the pond and listen to our wildlife.

For the nature lovers there is an abundance of resident wild birds, as well as sugar gliders, lizards, possums and tree frogs.

Day or evening Colonial Village has the almost famous Village Idiot Pub (V.I.P) which is the perfect hang out for a good priced meal and drink, or game of pool or darts.
