Maryborough is an interesting historic town to explore with many of the grand old buildings and historic cottages dating back to the gold rush era. The Historic Railway station with its Café and antiques is a must see for any visitor. The town also has a variety of pubs, cafés and restaurants, catering to all tastes.
Gold detecting is a popular past time for many visitors with gold tours and workshops available on a regular basis. Don’t miss a visit just up the road to Coiltek’s Gold expo and museum.
Kids are looked after in Maryborough with various outdoor playgrounds, a mini golf/lazer tag and fun park at Mini B, an indoor play centre at the Redhouse Bakery and the indoor pool in Gilllies Street has a toddler section as well.
