Monte’s was established back in the winter of 1977 opening its doors as the very first pizza restaurant in the thriving Thredbo Village.
Co-founded by Nick and Brigitte Tropiano the vision was simple, to produce the finest pizza and Italian food Thredbo had to offer.
After five fantastic years, this multi award winning restaurant moved to the Hills District of Outer-Western Sydney to continue the tradition of excellence in pizza. Despite enjoying wide success in their new location, Nick and Brigitte’s love for the Blue Mountains convinced them to move once more, and in 1988 opened their doors to Blaxland and have remained ever since.
