Take the A10 from Hobart to New Norfolk, then B62 and B61 to Maydena. Teds Beach is on the Strathgordon Road, and Edgar Campground off the C607.
The Southwest National Park encompasses some of the finest and most rugged wilderness country in Australia. Teds Beach Campground is at the northern end of Lake Pedder. The campground is flat and accessible, more suited to campervans than tents. Accessible toilets, picnic tables and BBQs are within one building at the campsite. Located at the southern end of Lake Pedder, Edgar Campground is relatively flat and accessible, with a number of sheltered and unsheltered picnic areas and BBQs. There is an accessible toilet facility, although wheelchair users may require assistance with the path leading to the building.
