The Beach HomesteadThe Beach Homestead, overlooking the sheltered bay on one side of the Island and the river estuary and beach on the other, has a warm, homely ambience and an abundance of rustic charm. Comfortably furnished, it offers the following;
- huge living/entertainment area with a large, raised open fireplace and access to decking and verandas several areas for dining, indoors and out
- a bar alcove with two fridges formal dining/games room with a multi purpose table that can easily be adapted for use as large formal dining table, billiards table or table tennis table
- spacious, fully equipped kitchen containing three electric ovens, a large gas cook top, two microwaves, three fridges, a freezer, a dishwasher, a huge country kitchen table, modern kitchen appliances, ample crockery and cutlery, utensils, serving bowls and platters etc.
- seven large bedrooms, each with access to outdoor areas, containing a double or queen bed, one or two single beds and/or bunks, television, radio, heaters, all bedding and linen (roll-away beds are also available)
- ensuite facilities for each bedroom
- disabled bedroom and bathroom easy access to main living areas and outdoors
- three separate toilets, including a bathroom for disabled guests
- large laundry equipped with washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board, ducted vacuum cleaning system
- indoor spa and sauna as well as outdoor spa (seats 10)
- shaded outdoor barbecue areas, on either side of the homestead and overlooking the water, with ample outdoor furniture timber blinds throughout
