Swansea Cottages accommodation is located in the historic seaside town of Swansea, Tasmania(c1821), adjacent the main beach, 30 minutes from Freycinet National Park and just over 90 minutes from Hobart and Launceston. From Swansea, the towns of Bicheno, Coles Bay, St Helens, Port Arthur, Richmond, Triabunna, Local Wineries and the ferry to Maria Island National Park are close by.
With beach and tennis courts adjacent (no roads to cross), stroll to shops, a diverse range of exciting and enticing restaurants and attractions including the award winning Swansea Barkmill Museum, Shop and Tavern (50m) , Gallery 19, the acclaimed Bear Cottage Craft Shop and the world renowned Kate’s Berry Farm.

ACCESSIBILITY:
“Dove Cottage” is unique and designed in the style of a traditional “Millers Cottage”.
This 2 bed roomed cottage (1 queen and 1 double bed with a half bunk over accommodates 4 adults+ 1 child) is complete with traditional 9′ high ceilings, ornate cornices and ceiling roses which help to make Dove Cottage a delight to stay in.
For the elderly or disabled traveller, Dove Cottage has been built to assist specific needs.
It is built on level ground, has no steps, wide doors, and a bathroom with a walk in shower (no hob), adjustable height shower chair, adjustable water head accessible whilst seated, and full hand rails. The toilet also has hand rails along with a purpose and slightly higher pan.
The full kitchen also has a dishwasher for your convenience should you wish to dine in. A full private laundry including washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board is situated in a “concealed” cupboard adjacent the kitchen For your comfort and convenience Dove Cottage is also air conditioned with climate control and separate cooling fan.
It has a private parking bay and veranda overlooking its own fragrant cottage gardens from where you can contemplate and watch the world go by.
