MOBILITY:

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is wheelchair accessible throughout the attraction. There are ramps connecting each level so care should always be taken. Part of the attraction has low lighting so please mind your step at all times. Kangaroo Walkabout’s outdoor area has uneven ground so please be mindful of this and what your step at all times.

Wheelchairs may be borrowed from the admissions area if required. Please note that wheelchairs are on a first come, first served basis, and cannot be booked or reserved ahead of time.

You will be required to leave your ID behind while you use the wheelchair.

SENSORY:

If you would prefer your visit to be less crowded and loud, they recommend you visit during the week (outside of school holidays), or any day after 2pm. The attraction is open till 6pm so this allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full benefits the attraction has to offer.

The butterfly tropics are designed to be warm like Butterfly Tropics so please be mindful of the warmer temperature before entering this area. For your information, there will be varying levels of lighting throughout the attraction to enhance the visit – please be prepared if this is a concern.

TOILETS AND FAMILY FACILITIES:

There are accessible toilets available for your convenience which are located at the beginning of the attraction before you enter and in the middle of the attraction.

There are changing facilities located in both the ladies bathroom and the accessible bathroom.

SEATING:

Bench seating (without back or armrests) is available at intervals throughout WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.

EMERGENCY EXITS:

The emergency exits are accessible and hazard free. There are audible fire alerting devices.

The assembly areas are on an accessible route. The staff are on hand to assist with evacuation requirements
